Crafts: Popsicle Stick Pirate Puppets
Make your very own pirate puppets in this fun and simple kids craft.
What you need:
- - Popsicle sticks
- - Chenille stems
- - Construction paper
- - Glue
- - Markers
Steps:
1. Grab a chenille stem and twist it around a Popsicle stick (see figure 1).
2. Bend the ends of the chenille stem into the shape of little hands (see figure 2).
3. Glue different shapes of construction paper to your Popsicle sticks to create your pirate head & clothing.
4. Add faces and details with markers, and decorate with buttons, feathers or anything that looks good on your pirate. Now you’re all ready to put on a pirate puppet show! AAR!
