Frequently Asked Questions

  1. When I try to run a game or activity, why do I see a large, gray rectangle or nothing at all?
If an activity does not come up on your computer, you may be using an old browser, missing a browser plug-in, or you may need to update an existing browser plug-in.

To view the games and activities on this site, you should be using at least Internet Explorer 6, Mozilla Firefox 1, or Netscape 7. If you are not using one of these programs or newer versions of these programs, update your browser using one of the following links.

If you are using a recent browser version but are still having problems, please download and install the following plug-ins. These plug-ins are widely used on the Internet and it's always a good idea to have the latest version.

  2. How do I use the coloring pages?
Our coloring pages are Adobe PDF files and can be opened with a free program called Adobe Reader. Once you have opened the coloring page with Adobe Reader, you can print them out and start coloring!
  3. Why do some games begin with a bus driving game?
We added a bus driving mini-game to some of our games so that children have a small game to play while they wait for the real game to load. This is important for some games which may take several minutes to download and begin.
  4. What about security? Will Funschool write to my hard disk drive?
No. Funschool games use software programs such as Adobe Flash (formerly Macromedia Flash) and Sun Java and security within these software products prevents outside access to your computer.
